A Bayesian network model for the probabilistic safety assessment of offshore wind decommissioning

With increasing the number of wind turbines approaching end their service life, it has become crucial for businesses to understand and assess safety security issues related decommissioning phase farm asset lifecycle. This paper aims develop, first time, a Bayesian Network (BN) model assessment offshore operations. The most critical incidents are identified corresponding risk-influencing factors (RIF) determined. impacts human errors as well procedural mechanical/electrical failures on efficiency operations thoroughly analysed. findings study revealed that RIFs during include: visibility, crew fatigue, personnel per operation, proper procedures, crane integrity, lifts available in farm, inspection frequency, equipment design.
